I won’t even tell you what time of the morning it is and I am eating cookies. Not planned. As I did eat an actual semi-healthy breakfast. But I have had such a sweet tooth with this pregnancy. I remember I always craved fruits and veggies while pregnant with the boys – but this one! Seriously, meat and sweets. Meat! I know, me – Miss “I would prefer a meal without meat”, abandoned Charming in our attempt at vegetarianism. He just doesn’t understand what a real craving is! But anyway, the cookies – fabulous! And they’re oatmeal raisin. So that kinda counts as a second breakfast, really. Just don’t tell my kids. In fact, I feel sort of guilty because they don’t know Charming brought these cookies home from the store last night. I had every intention of surprising them with what is known as a rare treat around here. My kids do eat cookies, its just that I never buy them but really, baking cookies in a house that’s already 98 degrees (joking….a little) is just absurd. So I am thinking about just keeping them my little secret. Is that just awful?
I just found out you can make your blog into a book. There is a company that does this. I’m so excited. I figured I’d give it a full year first and then give it a try. It would be so lovely to have for my kids to read and be horrified of the things I shared with…well, whoever is actually reading this!
There’s a book that love. I’ve had it for awhile.

By Amy Karol, whose blog I love btw, Angry Chicken. I’ve made a couple things but gave them away as gifts before I could photograph them. The other day I thought I’d try out the purse – which is going to be a Christmas gift for probably every female on my list! Anyway, I was pleased with the outcome and how easy it was! I think I might make them a little bigger from now on with a longer strap. But for now, this would make a cute going out purse. (Ahem…Charming, if you are reading this…. “Going out” purse?) I don’t really have a pretty place to photograph my stuff. I’ll have to work on that.

Speaking of creativity and making things, I wanted to share with you a snack Rocket made for me the other day.
Looks good doesn’t it? Tomatoes, cucumber, and raw potatoes chopped up and drizzled with hot sauce, wheat germ (”to make it healthy”), and red hots – that I didn’t even know we had! I ate it. Yes I took a few bites in front of him. “Mmmm…spicy, different, but very creative. I’ll have to save some for daddy!” was my response. Yesterday he made me Hot Onion Sugar Tea. I cannot tell you how much I didn’t want to taste this. So I said he had to taste it first and he said “no way!” Is he trying to pull a fast one on me? Let’s see how far mommy will go to support my creativity…
Funny children. They know. But I don’t think they know that we sorta know.
